Verification requests (“ZRD”) and Pages with a completed check

If you work with Facebook Pages, you may encounter a verification request, often called “ZRD”. Here is what it means and why Pages may be listed with the check already cleared.

What is a verification request (“ZRD”)?

“ZRD” is a request to verify an identity or Page that Facebook may show before advertising. Advertising from the Page may be unavailable until the check is complete.

Why a completed check is useful

Facebook Page with the verification check cleared — a Page where the requested check has already been completed. This saves time at launch.

Which type to choose and when

If you need to launch immediately, choose Facebook Pages with a completed check. If verification is not essential, consider standard Facebook Pages.
